July 28 - October 7, 2001
Renowned for its holdings of works reflecting the history of color printmaking, the Worcester Art Museum continues to collect this material with enthusiasm. This exhibition presents some of the finest American color prints that have entered the collection since the Museum's benchmark exhibition A Spectrum of Innovation in 1990. A broad range of style and media are reflected in this group from throughout the twentieth century, including works by Arthur Wesley Dow, Maud Hunt Squire, Jacob Kainen, and Deborah Remington.
