Phil Madio
A Worcester native, Madio attended Jr / Sr High School here in Worcester. He was drafted into the Army and served for two years in Vietnam, and then returned to Worcester. Now retired, Phil is involved with multiple Veterans organizations and travels widely to visit comrades and support other vets. He is currently the Board President of the Worcester Vietnam Memorial, located in Green Hill Park. He also serves as the Treasurer for Vietnam Veterans for the Community. Mr. Madio will be participating in the WAM event, “An Intergenerational Discussion with US Veterans” on Saturday, November 10, at 2pm, which is free to Veterans.
